Dark Horse Comics has announced that it has licensed Kentaro Miura and Studio Gaga‘s original manga Dur-an-ki. The manga will be released under the Dark Horse Manga imprint in bookstores and comic shops on September 16, 2025. Anime News Network was the first to confirm the manga’s license in an exclusive announcement earlier today.
The Dur-an-ki manga is based on an original fantasy story, inspired by Greek and Mesopotamian myths, that was produced by the late Miura and illustrated by the group Studio Gaga. It will be released in a single paperback volume with six complete chapters, bonus materials showcasing Miura’s creative process, the original story outline, concept illustrations, and much more.
The manga will be translated by Duane Johnson and lettered by Studio Cutie. Dur-an-ki was serialized in Hakusensha’s Young Animal Zero magazine from September 9, 2019 to May 9, 2020. The editors at Young Animal Zero and Studio Gaga concluded the series publication in September 2021 after Miura’s passing that May.
