The first Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle movie will open in Japanese theaters on July 18 JST, it has been revealed. A key visual for it was also released. In other Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba-related news, there’s a new trailer for the Demon Slayer: The Hinokami Chronicles 2 video game.
Before the new movie premieres in Japan, Demon Slayer – Kimetsu No Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train and compilations of the previous arcs will be screened in order starting on April 4 JST. Each of the 11 compilations, as well as the movie, will be available for one week only, with the second Hashira Training Arc compilation to start on June 27 JST. Also, this new screening of Mugen Train uses a 4K-upscaled version.
The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle movie trilogy will conclude the anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge‘s manga, which started with the 2019 first season. The Shueisha-published manga started serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2016 and ended in 2020 with 23 tankoubon volumes.
Aside from the first season and 2020’s Mugen Train, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime include the TV broadcast version of Mugen Train, Entertainment District Arc, Swordsmith Village Arc, and Hashira Training Arc.
