A new climax PV trailer has been revealed for the upcoming Welcome to Japan, Ms. Elf! TV anime series, which features Marie and Kazuhiro travelling to the latter’s countryside home of his grandfather and their other sightseeing adventures. The anime is premiered in Japan on January 10, 2025 and is expected to air for 12 episodes.
Toru Kita (Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It) is directing the anime series, with Aya Yoshinaga (Project Arms) as series screenwriter and scriptwriter, and Madoka Hirayama (I Don’t Like You At All, Big Brother!!) as character designer and chief animation director. Zero-G is in charge of the animation production.
The anime is based on the light novel series written by Makishima Suzuki and illustrated by Shimo Aono, which was first published by Hobby Japan on August 25, 2018 and has released 10 volumes as of January 2025. The most recent volumes, starting from volume six, have been published as digital ebooks.
The series originally began as a Shosetsuka ni Naro webnovel in 2017 and also inspired a manga adaptation by Yappen in 2018.
