A Golden Kamuy spin-off novel titled Golden Kamuy: Tokushiro Tsurumi no Shukugan is set to be released in Japan on October 17 JST. It will also be included in an advance order-only bundle containing a Blu-ray that offers anime adaptations of the “Inazuma Goto to Mamushi no Ogin” (or what the wikia calls “The Lightning Bandit and O-Gin the Viper”) and “Shima-enaga” arcs. A visual for the “Inazuma Goto to Mamushi no Ogin” arc was released with the announcement.
Golden Kamuy: Tokushiro Tsurumi no Shukugan, which is published under Shueisha’s Jump J Books label, will follow the 7th Division during the Russo-Japanese War. The 308-page book’s author is mystery novelist Amon Ibuki. The manga’s creator Satoru Noda is credited with the illustrations.
The new OVA Blu-ray is up for order until August 18 JST and is planned to be released on October 17 JST. The estimated runtime of its content is 30 minutes. The Golden Kamuy manga ran from 2014 to 2022 in Weekly Young Jump and is collected into 31 tankobon volumes. It was serialized. A TV anime adaptation began in 2018 and is getting a fifth season titled Golden Kamuy: The Final Chapter.
