The Reborn as a Vending Machine Season 2 TV anime has received a main trailer and a July 2 JST premiere date. The former includes a preview of the newly announced opening theme “Mirai Cider” by BRADIO.
Reborn as a Vending Machine started as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2016, with the Itsuwa Katou-illustrated light novel series starting later the same year. Three light novel volumes were released between 2016 and 2017.
A new edition with illustrations by Hagure Yuuki, who is also the character designer of the manga adaptation, began publication in 2021. Both the old and new publications fall under the KADOKAWA Sneaker Bunko label.
