The Fist of the North Star: Hokuto no Ken anime series has revealed three new cast members, along with new character visuals and a trailer. The anime is set to premiere in 2026. Taiten Kusunoki will voice Raoh, Tsuguo Mogami will voice Toki, and Wataru Takagi will be reprising his role as Jagi in the new anime series. Takagi also voiced Jagi in Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage video games.
The announcement was revealed during a special YouTube program to celebrate Fist of the North Star Day on September 13th, the day the Fist of the North Star manga series began in Weekly Shonen Jump. It was recognized by the Japan Anniversary Association.
Fist of the North Star is a Japanese manga series written by Buronson and illustrated by Tetsuo Hara. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1983 and released a total of 27 manga volumes. The series inspired anime adaptations, animated films, OVAs, a live-action film, stage plays, spin-off series, and video games.
