The Reborn as a Vending Machine anime will have a third season. The announcement follows the end of Season 2, which aired during the Summer 2025 anime season.
The story started as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou in 2016, with the Itsuwa Kato-illustrated light novel series following the same year. Three light novel volumes were released between 2016 and 2017.
A new edition of the light novels with illustrations by Hagure Yuuki, who is also the character designer of the manga adaptation, began in 2021. Both the old and new publications are under the KADOKAWA Sneaker Bunko label.
