Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ Genma Seisen-hen Premieres in January 2026 - The official Twitter/X account of Cardfight Vanguard!! announced that the series’ latest anime entry, Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ Genma Seisen-hen, will premiere in Japan in January 2026. The newest anime entry was announced after the finale of Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ Deluxe Finals, which aired its 12th and final episode on October 4, 2025. The series first premiered in Japan on July 5, 2025. Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ Deluxe Arc began broadcasting on January 11, 2025, and was streamed in Japan on Amazon Prime Video, d Anime Store, and Niconico.
The Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ anime entries are directed by Taku Yamada (Dropkick on My Devil X), with Tomokatsu Nagasaku (Battle Game in 5 Seconds) and Hiroyuki Saita (Revue Starlight) as character designers, Shun Menjo (Cardfight Vanguard DivineZ seasons 1-2) and Takahito Onishi (My Happy Marriage) as screenwriters, and Hijiri Kuwano as music composer. CLAMP is credited with the original character designs. The series is co-produced by Kinema Citrus, Gift Animation, and STUDIO JEMI.
Comic Natalie previously reported that the TV anime entries of the Cardfight Vanguard!! multi-media franchise had around 582 episodes. The franchise’s official Twitter/X account announced later that month that production of the anime series will continue until there are 700 total episodes.

Vanguard (a new version of the 2011 anime). The Cardfight!! Vanguard anime franchise’s D Series, which includes 2021’s Cardfight!! Vanguard overDress, 2022’s Cardfight!! Vanguard will+Dress, and the current Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ.
The Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ anime series currently has two seasons. The new Cardfight!! Vanguard DivineZ Deluxe Arc is also available with English subtitles on the official Cardfight!! Vanguard YouTube channel. In January 2023, it was announced that the overall D Series would have nine seasons, with plans for a 10th season and beyond also in development.
