I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand Anime in 2026 - The I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand (Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Itte kara 10-nen ga tattara Densetsu ni Natteita) light novel series is getting a 2026 TV anime.
Kakuto Kajiwara is starring as Luck, the titular last stand legend. Other announced cast members include Toshiyuki Morikawa as Eric and Tsuyoshi Koyama as Goran, Luck’s party members who are told to escape while he holds off the incoming demon hordes.
Gekkou is producing I Became a Legend After My 10 Year-Long Last Stand with Hiroyuki Kanbe (Oreimo) as director. The staff lineup also includes Mitsutaka Hirota (Days with My Stepsister) as series composer and Majiro (UniteUp! -Uni:Birth-) as character designer.
The light novel series began in 2019 under SB Creative’s GA Novel label and has seven volumes as of 2022. The books are penned by Ezogingitune, who first wrote the story as a web novel, and illustrated by DeeCHA.
Synopsis
With no other options, Luck makes the choice to hold the line against the unending demonic hordes alone, to make sure his comrades can escape with their lives. However, through a combination of fortune, skill, and ingenuity, he holds that line for ten straight years, eventually coming out on top singlehandedly.
