Protagonist Yoki reincarnates in a fantasy world as the underling of the Demon King and falls in love with the priest Cecilia, who arrives as part of the Hero’s Party to take down the Demon King.
The story was created by Suisei and began as a Shousetsuka ni Narou web novel in 2013. Three light novel volumes, illustrated by La-na, were published between 2014 to 2015 under Futabasha’s Monster Bunko label. La-na is listed as the original character designer in the anime’s credits.
