Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 has received a trailer for the “Gunpatsu Saigai Arc,” which begins with the season’s 10th episode on September 20 JST. There’s cool action and some focus on characters like Kikoru Shinomiya, Gen Narumi, and Soshiro Hoshino.
Kaiju No. 8 is based on the Shueisha-published manga by Naoya Matsumoto, which debuted in 2020 on Shonen Jump+ and released its 16th and final volume in September 2025. The anime’s first season premiered in April 2024. A compilation of that season and the Hoshina’s Day Off special were theatrically screened simultaneously for three weeks beginning on March 28 JST.
Season 2’s broadcast period saw the release of Kaiju No. 8 The Game for mobile on August 31 JST, with a Steam release set for October 1.
