Saioshi no Gikei wo Mederu Tame, Nagaiki Shimasu! Light Anime January 2026 Premiere - A new key visual has been revealed for the upcoming Boys’ Love light anime series Saioshi no Gikei wo Mederu Tame, Nagaiki Shimasu!, which will begin broadcasting in Japan in January 2026. A still from the light anime series was also posted on the show’s official Twitter/X on October 2, 2025. Yusuke Morishita is directing the light anime series, with Izumi Tezuka as series screenwriter. Imagica Infos and Imageworks Studio are in charge of the animation production.
Saioshi no Gikei wo Mederu Tame, Nagaiki Shimasu! is the first light anime adaptation from Boys’ Love animation label BALLOON, which includes partners such as IMAGICA Infos, Dai Nippon Printing, CYBIRD, and Blue Rights. Comic Natalie also reports the involvement of AnimationID in the series.
The original light novel series is written by Tenma Asahi and illustrated by Kazuaki. It was originally a web novel before being published by AlphaPolis in November 2022 under the Andarche Novels imprint. A manga adaptation was launched in January 2024. Saioshi no Gikei wo Mederu Tame, Nagaiki Shimasu! follows the main protagonist, Alba, who reincarnates as the step brother of the game character they were a fan of.
