Trigun Stargaze Reveals January 2026 Premiere

Trigun Stargaze Reveals January 2026 Premiere - The latest key visual, teaser trailer, and newest cast member have been revealed for the upcoming Trigun Stargaze TV anime series, which will premiere in January 2026. The manga inspired a previous 26-episode anime series adaptation that aired in 1998 and the anime film Trigun: Badlands Rumble in 2010. These were produced by Madhouse and directed by Satoshi Nishimura.

Masako Sato (Haikyu!! To The Top) is directing the Trigun Stargaze anime series, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Flower and Asura) as series screenwriter, Koji Tajima (Trigun Stampede) as concept artist and original character designer, Kiyotaka Oshiyama (Look Back director and character designer, Trigun Stampede special effects designer) as character designer, and Takehiko Okishi (Trigun Stampede) as story draft writer. Orange is in charge of the animation production for the series. 


Voice actress Chika Ayamori joins the series as Milly Thompson. Meanwhile, the anime’s main voice cast stars: 

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Vash the Stampede

Yoshimasa Hosoya as Nicholas D. Wolfwood

Sakura Ando as Meryl Stryfe

Ryuji Sato as Millions Knives (replaces Junya Ikeda)

Additionally, four new character visuals of Milly, Vash, Nicholas, and Meryl have also been released.

Yasuhiro Nightow’s original Trigun manga series ran in Tokuma Shoten’s Monthly Shonen Captain magazine from 1995 to 1997 through several irregular serializations and hiatuses. Three tankobon volumes were released by Tokuma Shoten and two reprinted volumes by Shonengahosha

It was then followed by Trigun: Maximum, which was serialized in Shonengahosha’s Young King Ours magazine from October 1997 to March 2007. Fourteen tankobon volumes were released in total.
